March 26, 2010 - There have been numerous complaints regarding speed when downloading mail. Unfortunately this was an intermittent problem and was therefore more difficult to identify. We believe we have managed to isolate the cause and rectify it and look forward to your feedback. We do sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused you and have put in measures to prevent its reoccurrence.
We have also received queries from customers using other access provider platforms to connect to the MWEB portal. Please be aware that if you are connecting through another access or mobile provider’s service you are utilizing their bandwidth and network. As a result problems you may experience accessing the MWEB portal may not be related to us in any way.

February 5, 2010 - Please note that our Bulawayo clients are down due to a problem at Powertel. Their Technical team is working on it and will advise when they are up and running.
February 1, 2010 - Please note that our Mutare subscribers are down due to an upstream problem. Telco - Wimax clients are also down due to problem at the Base station. We will advise you once we are up and running.
November 24, 2009 - Please be advised that there will be temporary UHF outage on Tuesday the 24th of November 2009 from 2000Hrs to around 0100Hrs. This is to allow essential maintenance on the UHF platform in order to improve service delivery. Please note that this disruption will only affect UHF customers on the old 600MHz platform. Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
November 19, 2009 - Please note that there is no power at Zimdef House - Bulawayo,so so it has affected all our Bulawayo clients. We hope to have the problem rectified soon. Any inconvinience caused is sincerely regretted

October 6, 2009 - Please be advised that we have been experiencing some routing problems to sites hosted by Internet Solutions in South Africa. This problem, affecting mail and browsing started late last week and has been intermittent. This has resulted in mail delays to and from South Africa and South African sites. In the interim we have implemented a temporary solution that should allow for a better flow of mail. |
